CHOCOLATE COVERED MACADAMIA NUTS TO CALIFORNIA
After seeing the destruction from fires in Napa Valley on TV and reading a bit more about in an email from Tamber Bey Winery I decided to do something to support the Fire Fighters. Purchased 144 boxes of Chocolate Covered Macadamia Nuts from Menehune Mac which makes each chocolate by hand in their small production facility in Kalihi. I packaged them up in boxes and with the help of my co-workers we put signs on each box showing our support. Shipped them all to Tamber Bey Winery and then Jennifer Waite the owner of the Winery delivered them to Firefighters in Calistoga. Mahalo to all of the brave and hard working first responders and firefighters who put their lives on the line each day to protect us and our property. True heroes in my book!
