DINNER AT HOME
Blessed to have an amazing Thanksgiving dinner with a handful of family members. We had so much food that we made takeout boxes for friends that were working or home alone. Our Daughter delivered the meals right after we finished eating. We also were able to provide a complete Thanksgiving dinner for a
family of four that we know. This year's food was the best ever. Our Turkey was the best tasting and moistest ever. My Wife brined the Turkey overnight and then basted it during the cooking process. She did a trick we learned from Chef Gordon Ramsey. He said to rest the Turkey for as long as you cook it. We did this and were amazed with the results. Other big hits of this meal were my Wife's homemade Gyoza. Everyone loved these little pillows of flavor. My Apple, Sausage and Sage Dressing was a hit and it was the best I have made in years. Shirley's Super Au Gratin Potatoes always a hit too but somehow I never took a picture of them. What a dinner!
